Wow - that month went fast!

Thought I'd post a few pics of our recent trip to Disney World. We were there from Nov 26th til Dec 4th. It was Cole's first visit and he had a blast! Loved all the big rides like Tower of Terror, Expedition Everest and Space Mountain. Robyn's personal favorite was Carousel of Progress, the original, plus Space Edition and Creepy Doll Edition - haha! :) We hooked up with my brother's family from Seattle and my sister and her grandson joined us for a few days as well. It was so great to get all the little cousins together - it had been over 4 years since they last saw each other. Robyn was worried about being the only female cousin over the age of 5 months, but she and my brother's oldest son had fun hanging out - when the rest of us would head back to the hotel after the parks closed, she and Nathan would hit up Downtown Disney until midnight or so every night. Rick and I thought that now that all 4 kids have been there, we are done with the Disney thing, but Cole had so much fun he wants to go back - we told him when he's 10 we'll go again. We stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge - it's a little far from the other parks - just a longer bus ride, but we're used to subways in the city, so the bus was no big deal. And it was way worth the extra travel time to see all the animals right outside our room. Cole loved waking up and heading straight for the balcony to see what was grazing nearby or strolling past - zebras, giraffes and wildebeests, oh my! Now we are counting the days until Christmas and our Christmas day phone call with Josh. It will be so great to talk to him - last time was Mother's Day. We're having a house full for Christmas dinner - don't know where I'm gonna fit 18 people, but it will be festive (and cozy)! Hope yours is merry and bright!
