Robyn turned 16 on Tuesday, and she wanted to spend the entire day shopping in the city, so we went down Monday night. It was a blast, as always. We LOVE New York! :) Robyn's BFF Jessi came along, as well as her favorite grown up, Amanda. We drove down to Yonkers, parked and took the train in cause even though I've seen my hubbie drive in the city many a time, I just didn't have the nerve! haha! Monday we ate dinner at Ellen's Stardust Diner, where Amanda clued the wait staff in to our reason for celebrating, so Robyn got a candle in her lemon pie and a sweet serenade. After photos in Times Square, we walked to Rockefeller Center, but the tree was still encased in scaffolding :( ...so we watched the ice skaters and found restrooms - not an easy task in the city :) Tuesday was shop, shop, shop til we all wanted to drop! Amanda & Jessi were such good sports - I should have warned them how long Bob takes in dressing rooms! :) Tuesday's highlights for us tag-alongs were Rainbow Falafel @ Union Square, Fishes Eddie, and dinner followed by frozen hot chocolates @ Serendipity.
