Indian Summer

So yesterday marked Josh's 8th month as a missionary. Crazy how fast the time is flying! With Haley gone to college and Josh in Paraguay, the Christmas card photo is going to look empty this year :( I know this is what we raise them to do, but the flying away from the nest part of parenting is more painful than I thought it would be. Good thing I still have two keeping me busy at home! :) Robyn, Cole and I enjoyed a long weekend visit with my folks in PA. The leaves are so beautiful this year and we are experiencing a bright, sunny, 80 degree Indian Summer, so the drive was one spectacular view after another. Made the 8 hour drive nearly fun :) Rick enjoyed his bachelor existence - he had stake meetings to attend all weekend long, so we left him at home. The missionaries took pity on him and came to cook him dinner on Sunday night - I don't think he missed me at all :)
